 The Secret Mommy Quintet / Basketball
Holy smokes!!! It has been such a long time since I did an update! I apologize immensely for my absence. But now there is some new news to report: A new release, no less! The next div/orce 7” is a Basketball / Secret Mommy Quintet split that I’m excited about (of course). I just approved the test press and am already sitting on the sleeves, so I’d say in a month we’ll have em all ready to ship out! There’s only 300 of these ones, so get em quick.

 Andy Dixon - The Mice Of Mt. Career
Andy Dixon, AKA Secret Mommy's first release under his name. Mt. Career billows with a concentration of thick pop, live instrumentation, and multi-cultural musical references. It runs the gamut of emotion from bittersweet hooks to murky, claustrophobic dirges. Andy's voice, guitar playing and songwriting burst with a fresh vibrant energy. There is a distict but modest feeling of "finding his place" living between the sounds of Mt. Career.

The sophomore release from Vancouver based trio, Winning. A dour and uncomfortable spin on free-rock. This band is fronted by Andy Dixon, and will be released simultaneously with his solo album (above), along with his design book, Weird Weight.

A split 7" between Andy Dixon and Montag (Carpark). Side A is a song co-written via internet ping-pong, while side B has a exclusive song by each artist. LIMITED! 300 in total in handmade packaging, and hand numbered. Also comes with a download of all the songs.

100pg, full color, 6.5" x 8.5" perfect bound book of Andy Dixon's visual art. There is something otherworldly to Andy Dixon's unique visual genius that thrives in mystery. It's equal parts punk rock, art school experimentation, graffiti, typographic maverick and childlike dreamscapes. It's like Basquiat and Twombly in a punk rock duel. Andy's work is notable for his exposure of process. He often highlights mistakes, typos and breaks in form. But he marries this with an almost effortless sense of composition and typography.
