| Jesse F. Keeler, ex-drummer for the now defunct infamous new wave band, Black Cat #13, and current bass player for the super-duo, Death From Above, dives heart-first into his first solo project. This LP is dark and heavy, not the kind of heavy that relies on down tuned guitars and tones so distorted they become the sound of air, but a REAL heavy. Heavy like a car accident, or the black underbelly of an urban landscape. This EP feels like Jesse's "fuck you" to flash in the pan trends within modern music, by being meticulously designed to sound both modern and timeless without playing off the hype of his former projects.
"brutal and chaotic"
- Heartattack
"Tight bursts of skipping vinyl intercut with melodic thrash. Vibrant and to the point. I understand that all the instrumentation on the EP was performed by one man. If this is true, then he is a mad genius and we should fear as well as love him."
- Phat
"Fast, rhythmic and
suitably frenzied, these pieces are old school all the way, and could have
been recorded in 1985"
- Splendid
